Campaign Strategy Roadmap Program
Harnessing years of experience and a deep understanding of how to build a truly workable yet highly aspirational book campaign, I will work with you over four one-hour sessions to develop a strong marketing and publicity plan and a strategic roadmap, based on your goals, budget, timeframe, and the genre you are writing in. This will help you focus your to-do list, fine-tune your plan, and maximize your efforts based on the variables that are you unique to you and your book. A strong, well-informed, strategic plan is key to a successful book campaign, and this program will help you put one into motion.
What you will get out of this one-on-one program:
An author-driven marketing & publicity plan, which will fortify and expand your publisher’s plan.
An understanding of where you are on the Publishing Timeline and how to make the most of the industry-specific opportunities available for you and your book based on your pub date/campaign timetable.
Establishing and leveraging your author platform (newsletter, social media, website) as you gear up for publication.
Media/outreach strategies on how to pitch your own book and expand your network.
Pre-order campaign strategies.
An event/programming plan, and a strategy to establish connections with booksellers and librarians.
Ways to engage and foster proactive efforts from your publisher, as well as how to fortify and make the most of what they are doing on your behalf.
If you are self-publishing, I will help you understand and navigate the challenges unique to campaigns for self-published books, including but not limited to media interest, bookseller engagement, distribution channels, and reader discovery.
